Adsorption (gravimetric)

  • Adsorption and desorption
  • Pressure range from vacuum to high pressures up to 40 MPa
  • Measurement temperatures between -20°C and +350°C
  • Pure gas measurements (e.g. CH4, N2, CO2, H2, H2S, CO, other on request)
  • Gas mixture selectivity measurements

Adsorption (volumetric)

  • Screening of several sorbent materials
  • Simultaneous measurement of up to 5 different materials

Sorption kinetic

  • Gravimetric detection of sorption kinetic in

Vapor sorption

  • H2O vapor, various solvents
  • Volumetric measurement, 13,5 kPa, 40°C
  • Gravimetric measurement, 200 kPa, 150°C

Thermogravimetric analysis

  • TGA with corrosive gases or vapor atmospheres
  • High temperature measurements up to 1100°C

Absorption and solubility

  • Gas sorption measurements on molten polymers
  • Solubility in Liquids (e.g. Ionic Liquids)
  • Detection of sorption based swelling of sorbent material (e.g. in course of CO2 absorption)

Drying

  • Evaluation of drying processes in vacuum (max. temperature of 350°C)
  • Superheated steam drying

Measurement of breakthrough curves / PSA studies

  • BTC measurements in adsorber beds
  • Analysis of PSA or VSA processes
  • BTC measurements using small amounts of sorbent materials (e.g. MOFs).

Isosteric heat of adsorption

  • Gravimetric measurement of sorption isotherms at different temperatures to calculate the isosteric heat of adsorption

Vapor pressure measurement

  • Gravimetric vapor pressure measurement of solid and liquid materials
